Orders ship in 1–2 business days from Kentucky. Unworn pairs can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. Worn-out pairs are covered for life under our Unconditional Lifetime Warranty.

When your order ships.
Free US shipping over $100. Flat $6.95 shipping under $100. Canadian shipping is calculated at checkout. Outside the US and Canada? Email support@alteraalpaca.com with your destination and intended order, and we’ll review available shipping options.

Order received
A confirmation email is sent as soon as your order is placed. Your order then enters the fulfillment queue at our Springfield, KY facility.

Ships in 1–2 business days
We pick, pack, and hand your order to the carrier within 1–2 business days. Many orders ship sooner, but 1–2 business days is the window we stand behind.

Tracking arrives by email
Tracking is sent as soon as the shipping label is scanned. You can also find tracking details under Account → Order History.
Returns + exchanges

Need to return or exchange an unworn pair? We are here to help.

Confirm the window
Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of your order date, as long as the socks are unworn and still in their original packaging.

Ship them back to us
Include your name, order number, and a note telling us whether you want a refund or exchange. We recommend using a tracked service, since Altera is not responsible for packages lost in transit.
03
We process your return or exchange
Once your package arrives, we'll issue your refund or send your exchange — usually within a few business days.
